Stop harassment

You have rights. We'll enforce them.

Debt collectors and recovery agents cannot call you at any hour, threaten you, or contact your family and employer. If they are — that's illegal. Fliint intervenes immediately, documents the violations, and makes it stop.

Your legal rights as a borrower

RBI's Fair Practices Code and the BCSBI Code of Bank's Commitment to Customers give you clear protections. Most borrowers don't know them — collectors count on that.

Calling hours are restricted

Collectors can only call between 8 AM and 7 PM. Calls before 8 AM, after 7 PM, or on Sundays without your consent are a violation.

No threats or intimidation

Threatening language, abusive behaviour, or any form of intimidation by a recovery agent is illegal. You do not have to tolerate it.

No contact with family or employer

Collectors cannot call your relatives, friends, or employer to discuss your debt or pressure them to make you pay. This is a serious violation.

No physical visits without notice

Recovery agents cannot show up at your home or workplace without prior notice. Unannounced visits — especially aggressive ones — are prohibited.

Right to a written notice

Before any recovery action, the lender must send you a written notice. Verbal-only demands without documentation are not compliant.

Right to lodge a complaint

You can complain to the RBI Banking Ombudsman, the lender's grievance cell, or the consumer court. Fliint helps you do this correctly.

How Fliint stops the harassment

We don't just advise — we intervene directly on your behalf.

01

Document the violations

We help you record and organise evidence — call logs, screenshots, witness accounts — building a clear case of what's happening and when.

02

Send a legal notice

We draft and send a formal legal notice to the lender citing the specific RBI guidelines being violated. This usually stops the harassment immediately.

03

Escalate to the Ombudsman

If the lender doesn't respond, we file a complaint with the RBI Banking Ombudsman on your behalf — a formal process that lenders take very seriously.

04

Resolve the underlying debt

Harassment often comes from unresolved debt. Once the immediate pressure stops, we help you settle or restructure the debt so the problem doesn't return.
